    Hello everyone.
Hi took receipt of my new MD802 a few days ago and have been very impressed, a few learning points.
    1) I ordered a new 16gb SD Card from Ebay which arrived at the same time. I registered the unit on the Pro Autel Site, connected the unit via the suppliedUSB Cable and update the system software. It then let me apply all the new software updates to the new 16gb SD Card plugged into my laptop. It took 6 hours but all works a treat.  Just make sure you keep the original card safe and well.
    2) i want to do some work on a Mitsubishi L200. I wasn't sure sure how to find the Model Type information from the drop down list so I emailed Autel. A few hours later i had a call from Autel, there suggestion was to ignore the Type info and start with what you do know, model year, gearbox chassis and cab type etc. This will narrow down the available model and type. I haven't used it on the van yet but all makes sense
    3) i used the supplied mini usb cable with an old cheap USB plug power adapter (just like the iPhone type) and it powers the unit up a treat.

I think this is a really good unit and look forward to really testing it.

Depending on the year of the cars you may not need the power adapter

bit late but handy hint for Mitsubishi, if you find the compliance plate it will have the model number on it that you need to enter into the system to ID the vehicle. the same way is done wile using the genuine Mitsubishi scan tool MUT 3

Thanks Brenda. Any idea where the compliance plate is normally located?
    Regards. Matthew
